About Us at Safe Haven Gardens

This is the site of Jennifer Wilson and John Eiseman. The site is primarily devoted to daylilies, but also includes many photos of our vacations.

While both Jennifer and John enjoy daylilies and are members of the AHS, it is John who is the main gardener.

Their St. Louis-area garden is an official AHS Display Garden. It has been a tour garden for two AHS regional meetings and one AHS National Convention.

Daylilies and gardening are a hobby for John and not a business, although he does occassionally sell some of his 'introductions' that he has hybridized.

John has served in many capacities as an officer and Board member of a local daylily club and is a past Regional Vice President of the AHS for Region 11. He has also won the AHS Service Award for Reion 11.

Jennifer's main hobby is baking, and some day we will start posting some of her favorite recipes.
